Is there parking at the studio?
Yes, 3 hour street parking is available at our venue.
Do you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?
For private workshops and space hire, you can arrange your own catering or you can use our neighbours, Velvet Cafe. Let us know when you book if you are interested in knowing more about food or drink packages and we will hand over your details once booking is confirmed.
What's the cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 7 days notice to either receive a refund or to reschedule. This applies to public workshops, private workshops, and space hire. No exceptions.
Public Workshops
Is there an age requirement?
Yes — public workshops are 18+ only, since a complimentary alcoholic drink option is included at every session. Looking for something for kids? See our School Holiday Workshops on the Events page.
Do I need to book with a group, or can I come alone?
Solo, with a friend, or a full table — public sessions run weekly.
How long does a session run for?
Duration varies by format — see each workshop's listing on the Public Workshops page.
What's included in the price?
All materials, guided instruction, a complimentary drink on arrival, and your finished piece to take home. See each workshop's listing for specifics.
Private Workshops & Buyouts
What's the minimum number of guests for a private booking?
8 guests minimum for a private buyout.
Can I mix different workshops in one private session?
Yes — for private workshops, talk to us about mixing up the combos and we can customise the perfect workshop to suit your group. Send us a DM to get started!
Is there time to set up or pack down?
Yes — every private buyout includes 30 minutes before and after your session for setup and pack-down, free.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit secures your date, with the balance due 7 days before your session.
Can I choose alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks for my group?
Yes — every booking includes a complimentary drink on arrival, and you can choose non-alcoholic, alcoholic, or a mix for your group when you book. Kids' parties are non-alcoholic only.
Do you cater for kids' parties?
Yes — we offer private kids party workshops and also school holiday pop-ups. These sessions are run by a Blue Card–holding instructor, with non-alcoholic drinks only.
Do you travel to us instead?
Yes — we offer a mobile service for private bookings between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Travel fees apply; select this when booking on the Private Workshops page and we will contact you to get more details!
Hire the Space
What's included when I hire the room?
Everything — lighting, seating, and styling are already set up. The bar-height table splits in two if you need it to or can be removed by request. Glassware is available for use but plates and cuttlery should be provided by your caterer.
How does access work if there's no staff on site?
Self check-in via a keyless lockbox — you'll get your access code by email once payment is confirmed.
Is there a bond or deposit?
A refundable damage bond is pre-authorised at checkout and released after your booking.
How far ahead can I book?
As far ahead as the live calendar allows — check availability directly or send us as DM or email.
School Holiday Workshops
Are your kids' workshop instructors qualified?
Yes — all school holiday workshops are run by instructors who hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
